BioMedicines, Inc. Names Curtis L. Scribner Chief Regulatory Officer

ALAMEDA, Calif., Feb15 --BioMedicines, Inc. today announced that it has named Curtis L. Scribner, M.D., M.B.A. as Chief Regulatory Officer and Vice President Regulatory Affairs.

Dr. Scribner is a native of Nebraska and received his medical training at the University of Colorado and the National Institutes of Health. He is a rheumatologist and immunologist with extensive experience in governmental and scientific affairs. He has also been a field scientist and principal investigator for clinical programs conducted in Africa. Dr. Scribner was a senior physician within the FDA, including duty as a Deputy Director in the Center for Biologic Evaluation and Research where he was responsible for activities within three FDA divisions. More recently he served as Chief Regulatory Scientist for Quintiles Consulting. Dr. Scribner also serves as a member of several scientific and ethical advisory boards for civic and private entities.
