Intarcia Benefits
Intarcia Therapeutics, Inc. provides employees and their eligible
dependents a comprehensive benefits program. The benefits program
consists of the following plans:
Medical
Intarcia Therapeutics Inc. offers an HMO and PPO medical plan.
Prescription benefits are covered under the plan. Employee contributions
are pre-tax.
Dental
Intarcia Therapeutics Inc. offers coverage with a $50 deductible
and $1,500 calendar year maximum. Employee contributions are pre-tax.
401(k) Retirement Plan
Eligible employees can participate in Intarcia Therapeutics Inc.
401(k) plan. Upon hire, an employee may designate pre-tax contributions
from 1%-90% of salary. Various investment alternatives are available
under the plan
Section 125 (Flexible Spending)
Intarcia Therapeutics Inc. offers health-care and dependent-care
reimbursement accounts to eligible employees. Employees can take
advantage of paying eligible health care and dependent care expenses
with pre-tax dollars.
Life Insurance & AD&D
Intarcia Therapeutics Inc. offers Life and Accidental Death &
Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance up to two times the employees
annual salary.
Short-Term Disability
Intarcia Therapeutics Inc. provides income protection of 66.7%
of basic weekly earnings up to a maximum of $2,000 weekly.
Long-Term Disability
Intarcia Therapeutics Inc. provides eligible employees 66.7%
of monthly salary up to $10,000 per month.
Employee Assistance Program
Employees and family members are given access to confidential
counseling and referral services to deal with work-related, life
or family issues
Time-off Benefits
Vacation
Employees accrue 15 days per calendar year. Accrual is on a monthly
basis.
After 5 years employment, employees accrue 20 days per calendar year. Part-time employees accrue vacation on a pro-rata basis.
Sick Days
Employees are given seven days per calendar year.
Holidays
Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day and Friday after Thanksgiving. Floating Holiday.
Winter Break
Intarcia Therapeutics Inc. gives employees a paid winter break
between Christmas and New Year's Day.
Other Benefits
Parking in the building is available and is paid for by the company.
If employees choose to use public transportation they will be
reimbursed in accordance with current company guidelines.
